Action Bar Info

Action Bar Info shows live player information on the action bar above the hotbar, including health, health percentage, direction, item count and time.
What it does
The mod draws a single line of text in the action bar, the strip above the hotbar, and refreshes it while the player moves. The readout can include the current health, the maximum health, the health as a percentage, a symbol for the compass direction the player faces, the number of a held item and the in-game time in the selected format. Each of these entries can be turned on or off separately in the configuration.
Because it only changes what the client displays, it does not alter the world, the server or other players. The mod needs AlinLib, and Fabric API is required on Fabric. Action Bar Info is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 20 release versions, 1.20 – 26.2, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.

Action bar readout
Information is written into the action bar, so the player reads it without opening a screen or looking away from the game.
Health display
The current and maximum health can be shown as numbers, and the health percentage can be shown as well.
Direction symbol
A symbol shows the compass direction the player is facing, updating as the view turns.
Item count and time
The count of the held item and the in-game time can be added to the same line, with a selectable time format.

Tracking health during fights
A player who wants a constant health readout in combat can keep the numbers on the action bar instead of the default hearts.
Navigating without the map
Players exploring large areas can keep the facing direction in view while looking at the terrain.
Who it’s for: Players who want more information on the action bar than vanilla shows. The mod is client-side only, so server owners do not need to install it, and players may run it in single-player or on a server.
