A partridge & a pear tree adds a bird and a pear tree to the world, themed on the Twelve Days of Christmas song, for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1.
What it does
Pear trees generate naturally in the world and hang pears from their branches. Players can break the pears, eat them, or craft them into pear slices as a food source. Partridges spawn naturally in their biome and make sounds that the mod describes as realistic. Killing a partridge drops raw chicken.
The mod is inspired by the Christmas song and is a light, simple addition. Pear trees currently spawn only in ocean biomes, a limitation the author has noted and asked for help fixing. The mod is built with MCreator and Blockbench and is published for Forge only, for 1.20.1, with 1.0.5 as the latest file. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too.
