YetGamer's Custom Fog
by YetGamerPro
YetGamer's Custom Fog lets server operators and map makers set fog color, density and shape for specific players through a command.
What it does
The mod adds a new command that changes the fog a player sees. The fog is set per player, so one player can have a different fog than the rest of the server. The command takes a distance where the fog begins, a distance where it becomes fully opaque, and red, green and blue color values. Saturation is given as a fractional value, where 0 is dim and 1 is the brightest.
The fog can be cylindrical or spherical, and the command includes an option to disable its chat output. A vanilla command resets a player's fog to the default. Fog can also be set from a datapack or a map, which lets adventure maps and servers apply a fixed look without players typing anything. The command syntax is complicated, so the author text includes a detailed explanation and screenshots.
Key features
Per-player fog
Fog color and density can be applied to specific players rather than to the whole server.
Color and density control
Fog start and opaque distances are set in blocks, and fog color uses red, green and blue number values.
Cylindrical or spherical shape
The fog can take either a cylindrical or a spherical shape around the player.
Datapack and map support
Fog settings can be defined in a datapack or a map, so a fixed look does not depend on typed commands.

Use cases
Adventure maps
A map maker can give the fog a fixed color and shape that matches the setting of the map.
Event fog for one player
A server operator can change the fog for a single player, such as during a role-play scene, without affecting others.
Who it’s for: Server operators, map makers and datapack authors who want to control the fog that players see, individually or for a whole map.
