XP Slurper
XP Slurper changes how experience bottles work on Fabric, so drinking one grants experience points directly instead of spawning an orb when it lands.
What it does
Vanilla experience bottles are thrown and burst on the ground, where the experience they release becomes orbs with a randomized amount. That makes them hard to manage and unsuitable for automation, even in mods that let players create bottles of experience. XP Slurper aims to make bottles behave more like potions: a player drinks the bottle, the experience points are added straight to the player, and no intermediate orb is created.
The number of points one bottle gives is configurable and defaults to 7, close to the average amount in vanilla bottle drops. The empty bottle returns to the inventory, as a potion bottle does. Players who tweak bottle values in other mods can match the amount of experience required to craft a bottle to the amount the bottle gives here.
Key features
Drinkable experience bottles
A player drinks an experience bottle and gains its points at once, with no orb spawned on the ground.
Consistent point amount
Each bottle gives the same configurable number of points, defaulting to 7, instead of a randomized amount.
Empty bottle returned
After drinking, the empty glass bottle goes back into the inventory, as with a potion.
Vanilla drops left alone
Experience bottles still drop as in vanilla, and the change applies only to how a bottle is consumed.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Automation
Because each bottle gives a fixed amount, machines and farms that produce bottles can be planned around a known yield.
Matching bottle recipes
Servers that alter how many points a crafted bottle holds can set the drink amount to the same value.
Who it’s for: Server owners and players who use experience bottles in automated setups or with mods that let them craft bottles, and who want the bottles to behave predictably.

SG Exp Storage is a Fabric, client-side only mod for 1.21.3 – 1.21.8 that is open source under the MIT License.

What the author says
Allows the player to drink experience directly from bottles of experience and get the same amount of experience every time. Bottles of experience are incredibly unreliable. Having to throw the bottle introduces inconsistency, the behavior of experience orb entities is hard to manage, and even the amount of experience…
