Wither Loot
Wither Loot changes the drops a Wither leaves behind, replacing the vanilla loot table with its own set of items, and it can be run as a data pack.
What it does
Wither Loot gives the Wither a custom set of drops. A Nether Star is always dropped, one Netherite Ingot has a 10% chance and one or two Netherite Scraps have a 90% chance. Two to four Bones and two to four Coal each have a 50% chance, and a Wither Rose always drops. A Suspicious Stew is always dropped as well, and it applies the Wither effect for 5 to 30 seconds when eaten.
The server needs the mod for the new drops to appear, while players may add it without changing anything on their side. Installs exist for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and it is also offered as a data pack. Files cover 15 release versions 1.21.2 – 26.3, and snapshot builds are published as well. The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is not open source. The latest file for every loader is v1.1+mod for 26.3, dated 2026-10-08.
