Way Too Many Locks is a Forge mod that adds a large set of unique locks, each with its own story, and a crafting path for building custom locks.
What it does
Way Too Many Locks adds a large number of locks, each with its own theme and backstory, and gives players advancement goals tied to finding and crafting them. The mod began as an earlier project called Too Many Locks that was never finished, and the author remade it for 1.20.1 with many more locks. Locks are built with ancient mechanisms, and some of them are assembled in a multiversal lock reassembler.

Dozens of distinct locks, each with a short story, can be found and collected in play.
Custom lock crafting
A 3x3 plate built from nine blocks forms the base of a structure that holds a custom lock on top.
Imploder and reassembler
An imploder takes the place of the middle lock creation plate, and a multiversal lock reassembler completes the process.
