Wathe Custom Role Colors
by NebulaJinxed
Wathe Custom Role Colors lets players set their own display colors for each role in the Wathe: Murder Mystery game, with a separate color choice for every role.
What it does
Colors are chosen per role, so a player can make one role stand out while keeping others in their default tint. Some role colors can be closed off to change, and the mod detects which roles are installed, listing only those. Roles are grouped into tabs by faction, which keeps the settings screen manageable when many roles exist.
The mod requires HarpyModLoader, NebsConfigLib and Wathe: Murder Mystery to run. It is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 only, and the environment is client-side only, so servers do not need to install it. The files are released under All rights reserved, and the code is not open source.
Key features
Per-role color customization
Each role has its own color setting, so players can change one role without touching the rest.
Alpha and transparency control
An alpha option adjusts transparency, giving finer control over how each custom color appears.
Organized role tabs
Roles are grouped into tabs by faction so players can find the role they want quickly.
Automatic role detection
Installed roles are detected automatically, so the settings list reflects the roles actually in use.
Per-role toggle
Custom colors can be turned on for only the roles a player chooses, leaving the rest unchanged.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.

Use cases
Colorblind-friendly setups
Players who need higher contrast can pick colors that are easier to tell apart for their own vision.
Favoring particular roles
A player can make a favorite role stand out in a match by giving it a distinctive color.
Who it’s for: Players of Wathe: Murder Mystery on Fabric who want to personalize how roles look on their own screen. Because it runs on the client only, it does not affect other players or the server.
How it compares
okipiak's Express - Wathe is a Fabric mod for 1.21.1 that needs both client and server, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Cobblemon PokeNovaGuard is a Fabric mod for 1.21.1 that runs on the server only, under All rights reserved. Player Roles is a server-side Fabric mod for 1.16.4 – 26.3 released under the MIT License, so it is open source; it covers a wider version range than this mod.
