VisualOres
VisualOres shows discovered ore veins and underground fluid fields on the map, using prospecting items to find them in the world.
What it does
Prospecting with an electric prospector in ore mode reveals ore veins, which are then marked on a map and can be given a waypoint. Double-clicking a vein mark sets a waypoint, and double-clicking it again removes the mark. Deleting a mark while hovering over it flags the vein as depleted. Picking up surface rocks and right-clicking ore blocks also lets a player discover veins. A fluid mode on the same prospector finds underground fluid fields, which are shown larger than life near the origin.
The mod overlays its markers on JourneyMap, Xaero's Minimap and Xaero's World Map, and it supports all three. Prospection data can be shared with other players on a server, and the local cache can be reset or opened with commands, with the reset being reversible. Installation needs CodeChickenLib and MixinBooter, and the server and both clients need VisualOres installed. VisualOres is released under the MIT License and is open source; the code is public on the project's source repository.
