Xaero's World Map: Synchronized
by 5w14
Xaero's World Map: Synchronized lets players on a Forge server share the map data they explore through Xaero's World Map.
What it does
Players on a dedicated server explore the same world, and each map tile they uncover can now be passed to the others. The sync layer rides on top of Xaero's World Map, which must be installed alongside it on every side. The mod is built for survival multiplayer servers where a shared map saves time.
Key features
Shared map data
Map tiles discovered by one player become available to other players on the same server.
Server-side storage
Between sessions, the shared map data stays on the server, kept in a folder named xaerosync.
Built for SMPs
The synchronization is aimed at survival multiplayer servers, where players build and travel together.
