Villager Helper, a Fabric utility, shows extra information about villagers and their workstations so players can read trades and beds without guessing.
What it does
The mod overlays details on villagers in the world. A red line is drawn from a villager to its bed, and a blue line to its job site block, which makes it easier to see where a villager works and sleeps. The price of the first enchanted book a librarian offers is shown above that villager's head.
Rendering runs on the client, while the server also needs the mod so that the information is available in multiplayer. Only the Fabric loader is supported, and the files cover 1.14.4 – 1.19.1, with mc1.19.1-v2.0.0 for 1.19.1 as the latest build from 2022-08-03. The code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the project is open source and its source code and issue tracker are public.
