VFPBedrockPatcher is a Fabric client mod that patches the ViaBedrock integration so Bedrock Edition servers play more smoothly from a Java client.
What it does
Several fixes and improvements target ViaBedrock's behaviour on a Java client, aiming to make Bedrock servers playable. The mod corrects teleport desynchronisation, so a position teleport no longer leaves the player out of sync, and it fixes block breaking inside protected areas.
The patcher also adds support for custom block collision, dropping and releasing held items, entity containers and input locking. Input data sent in the PlayerAuthInput packet is handled more accurately, and vehicle-related packets work in a limited way. The mod is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later, and the source code and issue tracker are public.

Teleport desync fix
Position teleports are corrected so the client and the Bedrock server stay in step after the player moves.
Protected area block breaking
Blocks inside protected areas can no longer be broken in a way the server does not expect.
Custom block collision
Collision boxes of custom blocks are supported when a Bedrock server defines them.
Input data accuracy
Data in the PlayerAuthInput packet is produced more precisely, including item dropping, releasing and input locking.
