What it does

Vanilla slabs only cover the lower or upper half of a block space. This Forge mod adds a vertical counterpart for many vanilla blocks, such as wood and stone, so a block can fill one side of a space instead. The collision shapes follow the placement, so entities and players interact with the blocks the way they look.

The blocks work in survival and creative modes alike. The mod is built on Forge and covers six release versions, 1.20.1 – 1.20.6. Both the server and every player need it, because the blocks are registered on each side. The code is under the MIT License, and the project is not open source.

The author describes the project as experimental and says updates are likely to be infrequent, since it was made in an AP Java project. Its only published file is 0.0.1 for 1.20.6, dated 2025-04-14.
