Vancer Ores adds new ore types to Forge 1.16.5, along with tools, armor and blocks made from the new materials.
What it does
The new ores generate in the Overworld the way vanilla ores do, with some rare enough to be found mainly through deeper digging. Their materials feed a full set of tools, including pickaxes, axes, swords, shovels and hoes, and a matching set of helmets, chestplates, leggings and boots. The tool and armor stats are balanced around durability, mining speed, attack and protection, so each tier sits between the vanilla materials it follows.
Amethyst and Enderium materials extend the progression into the End and add a stronger option for players who have finished the early game. Unique crafting recipes combine vanilla and modded items, and one recipe upgrades an existing Amethyst Pickaxe into a stronger tool. The mod is aimed at players who want new mining challenges and gear for late-game play on a single-player world or a server.
Vancer Ores runs on the client only, so a server does not need to install it. It is published only for Forge, with one release, RELEASE-1.0.0, for 1.16.5, dated 2025-10-17. The code is licensed under the Apache License 2.0, and the mod is not open source.
