Upgrade Structures

The mod adds a set of new structures that generate in the world, including hidden chests in deserts that hold a special item. Players can find these structures, collect what they contain, and use the items in crafting. A datapack allows the mod to upgrade vanilla structures and make them more rewarding to explore.

Crafting centers on the Ancient Technology Upgrade, which applies to a diamond chestplate and adds unique technologies to it. Crafting a special armor piece yields one of two random outcomes. The recipes are listed in the recipe book, where each structure can be clicked to see the items it provides.

The server must run the mod, while players may leave it out, so either side can join without it being a requirement for every player. The mod is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 license and is not open source. Files exist for Fabric, Forge and Quilt across game versions 1.19 – 1.19.3, with 1+mod for 1.19.2 as the latest file.
