TreasureMap

by Apothem

TreasureMap lets a player build a custom treasure map by running one command on an empty map held in hand.

FabricServer-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.5 – 1.21.5

What it does

The mod adds a single command that turns an empty map into a treasure map pointing at coordinates the player enters. The player must hold an empty map in hand when running it. Once created, the map stays set to that treasure location and does not refresh on its own. It runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. Files are published for Fabric only, across eight game versions 1.20.5 – 1.21.5, with 1.0.0 for 1.20.6 as the latest file, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Custom treasure maps

Players can create a treasure map that points to any chosen set of coordinates.

  2. Single command

Map creation uses one command that takes the x, y and z position as arguments.

  3. Map stays fixed

The created map keeps its treasure location instead of updating immediately to the nearest treasure.

Questions

Does TreasureMap need to be installed on the client?

What the author says

This mod adds only one command: CreateTreasureMap [x, y, z]. To use it you need to have an empty map in your hand. P.S. When you are making a map do not stay next to your "Treasure", because when you will get your map, it immediately updates.
