Travellers Map is a Forge minimap mod that adds a corner display and a full map for placing custom waypoints.
What it does
A small minimap sits in a screen corner, so a player can check the surroundings without opening the full map. The minimap can be moved around the screen and scaled by scrolling over it, and both options are also available in the config or in the settings menu reached from the cogwheel on the fullscreen map. Players can place waypoints to mark bases, hidden caves or other places they have found.
The mod also shows terrain and structures on the map, which helps adventurers track where they have been. The author notes a rewrite in progress, and that some features planned for it were not possible in the current codebase. It was started during a short modding jam. Files are published for Forge only, for 1.16.5 with 0.7.5 as the latest file, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Players need the mod on their client, while a server can add it for extra features and does not have to run it.
