Trade & Transport

by landrethbrayden

Trade & Transport changes how villager trades are moved, picked up and cured, and each of its four mechanics can be switched off in-game.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.21.9 – 26.1.2

What it does

Villagers can be picked up with a standard bucket, and the bucket keeps the villager's trade level and custom name. A player can then carry the villager somewhere else and place it again. Stackable curing lets cure discounts from zombie villagers stack up to five times at the maximum trade level, which the vanilla game no longer does. Zombie conversion is set so that villagers killed by zombies always turn into zombie villagers, whatever the world's difficulty setting is.

Each of the four mechanics is an individual feature that can be toggled in the in-game configuration menu, and all of them are enabled by default. Fabric API and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are required, and Mod Menu is optional; it gives access to the settings screen. The server and every player need the mod installed. It is published for Fabric only, across 26.1 and the 1.21.9 – 1.21.11 builds, under the MIT License, which is not open source. The latest file is 1.0.0 for 26.1.2, released on 2026-05-27 on the beta channel.
