Peasy Mode (Unofficial Update)

by landrethbrayden

Peasy Mode (Unofficial Update) is a Fabric server mod that relaxes the difficulty of a peaceful-style survival game by keeping mobs from targeting players on the lowest setting.

What it does

Peasy Mode (Unofficial Update) is an unofficial continuation of Vesui's Peasy Mode, updated for Minecraft 1.21.10 and later. It lets players enjoy a relaxed, peaceful-style survival experience while several threats remain in place. Mobs still deal damage on contact, for example when a player collides with jumping slimes or with guardians that carry thorns. Zombies still attack villagers, and wardens still apply darkness effects.

The mod changes how mobs behave on the lowest difficulty setting. Mobs stop targeting players, and they still spawn naturally, so the world keeps its usual population. The author also fixed cycling the difficulty once more and corrected an issue in which zombie reinforcements on the higher settings kept attacking the player after a switch.

The mod is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with its source code public. It is a server-side only mod, so players join a server running it without installing anything. Files are published for Fabric only, for five release versions, with 1.2.0 for 26.1.2 as the latest file.
