With Tough As Nails: A Curios Expansion, players can equip thermal insulation pads in a Curios slot to counteract the effects of temperature.
What it does
The expansion adds Thermal Insulation pads that are equipped in a new slot of the Curios inventory. Different pads counteract different effects: one set guards against burning death, another against freezing death, and a universal pad counteracts both elements. Brewing these pads calls for a new Firoze Liquid, made from rare ingredients.
It extends Tough As Nails, which is required, and works with the Curios API as an optional dependency. Accessories and Trinkets are also listed as optional dependencies. The mod runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.20.1, where the latest file is 3.1.1, published on 2026-05-05. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
