Touch Grass

Touch Grass is a server-side Cursed mod that makes grass blocks and several plants a datapack-controlled interaction, so that players must touch them to progress.
What it does
The mod is a datapack that defines where a player must touch grass. The trigger set covers vanilla grass blocks, short and tall grass, large fern, dead bush and moss blocks, which the datapack treats as the touch points.
Because the logic lives in a datapack, it is also available for Paper, Spigot, Bukkit, Purpur, Folia and plain data pack installs, and it covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing anything. The license is MIT, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
Release files cover 15 game versions 1.21 – 26.1.2, with snapshot builds published as well. The latest file on every loader is 1.3-mod for 26.1.2, dated 2025-05-07.

Touch the grass is a client-side only option, published for Fabric and Quilt on 1.21 – 1.21.7 under the MIT License, so it changes only the player's own game. Grass Drops Everything runs on client and server, works on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and is not open source. Unnecessary Recipes needs the server, client optional, and is released under the Apache License 2.0.
