Cakes generate in mines, and the mod adds 40 different edible cakes in raw versions. Some give strong buffs such as Speed II and Haste II, others carry unique mechanics and trade-offs. Eating a TNT cake places a lit TNT block where the player stands, and a Redstone cake or Winerr cake can trigger a small chance of a glitch or shuffle the hotbar, which can turn damage items into random effects.

Several cakes change what the player can survive. The Ender Pearl cake grants a void anchor effect and teleports the player back after a fall into the void, while another cake works as life insurance. Cakes that consume experience points give combat buffs, and a Lapis cake is one of the options among them. Potions are made much stronger than in vanilla, and the off-hand item repairs itself by 5% durability. New ores generate in the Overworld, Nether and End, and mining them lets players craft vanilla items.

The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 26.3 among seven release versions 1.12.2 – 26.3, and it runs on client and server. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. The author notes a Report Issues section for bug reports.
