Players who want a machine-free way to gather ore can use Toro's Auto Mine, a client-side Fabric mod that mines blocks automatically.

What it does

Toro's Auto Mine automates repetitive block mining so the player does not have to hold the attack button. Mining continues while the game is minimized, which lets a player stay AFK. Automatic mining can be switched off at any time, and the mod works in singleplayer as well as in multiplayer and LAN worlds.

Settings are changed in the game through Mod Menu, so no config file has to be edited by hand. The mod requires Cloth Config API, Fabric API and Mod Menu, and each must be installed for the matching Minecraft version. Only the client needs the mod, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Files exist for 1.18.2 – 26.3, with 26.3+1.1.1 as the latest Fabric file, dated 2026-10-15.
