TooltipToggles
by yungando
TooltipToggles gives players switches for the extra lines and labels that item tooltips can show in Minecraft on Fabric.
What it does
TooltipToggles provides toggles that couple tooltip features, so a player can decide which extra tooltip details appear. Each toggle is separate, letting a player keep some details and drop others without editing any file by hand.
The mod runs on the client only, so only the player who uses it needs it installed; a server does not need it. It requires Fabric, and Mod Menu and Cloth Config API are optional dependencies that add a settings screen. Builds cover 1.21 – 26.3, with the latest Fabric file, 1.3.2+26.2, targeting 26.3 and published on 2026-09-19. The project is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, and its source code and issue tracker are public.

Use cases
Cleaner tooltips while playing
A player who finds the advanced tooltip lines cluttered can switch off the ones they do not read, keeping the rest of the item information visible.
Configuring through Mod Menu
With Mod Menu and Cloth Config API installed, the toggles can be changed from a settings screen instead of a config file.
Who it’s for: Players on Fabric who use advanced tooltips and want to control which extra lines appear on items, in single-player or on a multiplayer server they join.
