TNT Optimizer
by 5able
TNT Optimizer changes how explosions find the blocks they affect, so a server handles many TNT blasts at the same time with less work.
What it does
Normally the game checks the same blocks again and again when several explosions happen close together. TNT Optimizer uses a Breadth-First Search (BFS) method that looks at each block only once, and it keeps a record of the blocks already checked, so the same work is not repeated.
The mod is meant for server owners who want the game to run smoothly while many explosions happen at once. A single TNT with nothing around it explodes without extra resource use, and the explosion itself keeps its normal size and damage. Players on the server play without needing anything extra.
It is server-side only, so only the server needs to install it. Players join without it, since only the server has to run the mod. Files are published for Fabric, for Minecraft 1.21.11, and the latest build is 1.0.0 with Fabric Loader 0.18.1 or later, released on the beta channel under the MIT License, which is not open source.
Key features
Breadth-first block search
Explosions look up affected blocks with a Breadth-First Search, checking each block once instead of revisiting it.
Record of checked blocks
The mod tracks which blocks an explosion has already examined, so overlapping blasts do not repeat the same checks.
Faster TNT explosions
Chain reactions and clusters of TNT resolve more quickly, which eases the load on a busy server.
Normal explosion results
The explosion keeps its usual size and damage, so the way the game works is not changed.

Use cases
Busy TNT servers
A server that hosts large TNT setups or mini-games with frequent blasts can use the mod to reduce the cost of simultaneous explosions.
Lag during large blasts
Players who see slowdowns when many TNT charges go off together can install the mod on the server to smooth out those moments.
Who it’s for: Server owners running Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabric who host TNT-heavy gameplay. Players need nothing installed on their own game, since only the server runs the mod.
How it compares
FastTNT is also a server-side only Fabric mod for 1.21.11 under the MIT License, so it covers the same environment, version and license as TNT Optimizer. String Optimizer is a client-side only Fabric mod for 1.21 – 1.21.11 with All rights reserved, so it affects a different part of the game and runs on the player side.

This thing helps with explosions in the game by using a special way to look at the blocks that are going to be affected. It does this to help the server run smoothly when a lot of things are happening at the same time. Normally the game checks the blocks over and over again.. The TNT Optimizer uses a different method…
