Time Vortex (TARDIS) lets players pilot their own space-time machine by hand, travelling through a vortex to coordinates they enter.
What it does
The mod centres on the journey rather than an instant jump. A player flies the TARDIS through the time vortex with a manual flight system, and manages its energy while navigating by coordinate systems. Target coordinates can be entered to reach dimensions and distant parts of a world, so travel takes effort and planning.
Time Vortex integrates with survival mode: travel capabilities have to be earned through progression, and the interior and exterior of the TARDIS can be personalised in style. Development targets NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1, and the mod is released under the MIT License as open source. Both the server and every player need it, because the environment is client and server. Source code and an issue tracker are public.
