TIABS, a Forge magic mod for 1.12.2, adds a single Time Bottle item that speeds up the tick rate of machines and crafting blocks when players right-click them.
What it does
A player fills the Time Bottle passively over time, and the stored time is then spent by right-clicking a block with it. Each click doubles the tick speed of that block, and the boost lasts 30 seconds. Each successive click on a block draws a larger amount of stored time: 30 seconds for the first, then 60, 120 and 240, with the fifth matching the fourth.
The item is useful when a furnace, crafting process or smelting chain is slow and the player wants it finished sooner. The bottle holds a single inventory of time, so only one boost is stored at once. The mod is standalone and does not depend on other mods, and it is listed under the Magic, Game mechanics and Technology categories.
TIABS is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files exist for Forge 1.12.2 only, with version 1.0 published on 2023-12-01. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are publicly available.
