Thorough Keybindings lets players remap controls that vanilla fixes in place, such as F3, Escape and the hotbar slot keys.

What it does

The mod makes keybindings configurable in Minecraft versions where those controls could not be changed. Players can rebind Escape and F3 in game, add options for Shift, Control and Alt, and map digit and navigation keys, including the keys used by the profiling pie chart. Earlier builds receive the same mappings, so rebinding F5 or the hotbar slot keys works there too. The environment is Client-side only, so only the client needs it; the mod is open source under the MIT License and requires Fabric API on the Fabric loader.

Files cover b1.0 – 26.3 and snapshot builds are published. Versions since Minecraft 1.14 run on Fabric API, while beta 1.0 – 1.13 use Ornithe with Fabric and Standard Libraries.
