by Easter Breakers

The Broken Easter is a NeoForge add-on for 1.21.1 that brings Easter-themed mobs, eggs and items into a Cursed-styled setting, and it requires The Broken Script.

What it does

Entities, eggs and items are the core of the mod. Its mobs were made by the artist Artis Juck, and its eggs and items by two artists, Miaushi and daofi:p, who are named in the author text. A Revuxor Chicken is among the creatures added. Food in the mod restores hunger, but some of it cannot be obtained through normal play.

The Broken Easter is described as an add-on for The Broken Script, so that mod must be installed alongside it. The author notes it as still in beta, with a lot of content expected to change. The mod includes features that alter a world directly, such as options to ban a mod world, delete a world, grief builds, and kill players in the only way the game allows.

A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for NeoForge only, under All rights reserved, which means it is not open source. The latest file is 1.2 for 1.21.1, dated 2026-06-19, and the first release came on 2026-05-13.

Use cases

Who it’s for: The mod suits players who want seasonal, offbeat content in a NeoForge 1.21.1 world. Because it is still in beta, its features may change between releases.

How it compares

Full comparison

The Broken Content is also NeoForge for 1.21.1, client and server, and under All rights reserved, so it is the closest parallel. The Broken Script: Reprogrammed uses the same loader, version and environment, but it is a separate take on the script. test horror mod is a different project for the same loader and version, with the same client and server environment.
