With The Lucas installed, a Forge player may meet a figure that appears at a distance while being watched, a horror mod built around a summoning totem.
What it does
The Lucas is a horror mod for Forge 1.20.1 that adds a mob which appears far from the player while the player looks toward it. Its spawns become more frequent as the player is more active in the world. Creative mode is where the summoning begins, since the player builds a totem first.
The summoning follows a fixed sequence: the totem must be built with its face to the west, and a sign then has to be placed on the other side of it. When that is done the totem disappears and the figure Lucas is summoned. Building the same totem a second time removes Lucas again, so the sequence serves as both the way in and the way out.
Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The license is All rights reserved, and the code is not open source. Files are published for Forge 1.20.1 only, with 1.0.0 as the latest file from 2024-09-10.
