The Ghoul Remastered

The Ghoul Remastered adds a corrupted dimension called Dark Aether, reached through a portal built after a final battle with a demonic Ghoul.
What it does
The Ghoul is summoned in a church with wither skulls and a nether star, and players need the strongest equipment to survive that fight. Defeating it opens the path to materials for weapons and armor and the means to build a portal into Dark Aether, where the world starts from zero with new tools and armor. Ores and materials found there are new, and the corrupted dimension holds evil creatures that players must escape.
Dark Aether also contains shadows that follow players, remove light and can jumpscare friendly survivors, and new bosses such as a spider king who lives underground and a Devil. Survivors can trade with one another for new items. The Ghoul Remastered runs on Forge for 1.20.1 and depends on Geckolib, which must be installed alongside it. Files for 1.19.2 and 1.20.1 are listed, and the mod is still a work in progress that is already usable.
