The Desolator

Crafting the bomb takes a long series of steps that use unusual substances, so the recipe is the main progression goal. Once built, the Desolator clears a large spherical area of matter in a few seconds, though the process can lag on weaker machines. When it explodes, stone and deepslate in the blast zone become irradiated, and it leaves behind Suspicious Goop blocks in layers. Standing near radioactive blocks irradiates the player, and the goop blocks are radioactive too.

A Mushroom Investigation structure generates only in mushroom fields biomes and has a small rabbit farm with a slightly average story to discover. Brewing Sticky Goop with an Awkward Potion produces a Potion of Desolation Immunity that lasts 5 minutes, and the status effects section explains what the effect does. The mod has custom advancements that guide the player through its features, and videos showcasing the mod are available. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files target 1.20.1 only, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
