The Deep Echo adds a hostile sculk-infested dimension that opens through a portal in the ancient city of the Deep Dark.
What it does
The mod adds a sculk-infested realm that players reach by stepping through the portal in an ancient city. The realm is meant to extend the mystery of the Deep Dark biome, and its hostile mobs are built around sculk.
The dimension also serves as an alternative Nether, letting players gather Eyes of Ender through its content rather than the usual route. Other recipes in the mod can be found in the game. The Deep Echo is in early stages, and the author expects later updates to refine the mechanics, the sculk-based mobs and the atmosphere of the dimension.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it, while the server alone runs it. It is published for NeoForge on 1.21.1 – 1.21.4 and is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. The author built it with MCreator and credits that team for making the mod possible.
