What it does

Create's Blaze Burner accepts liquid fuels, and this mod lets the TFMG fluids serve as valid fuels in that system. Of the fuels, Heavy Oil ranks lowest, and it is chiefly suited to the early game as a low-grade choice. Gasoline and Kerosene form the mid tier, while Diesel and Naphtha are the strong standard fuels. Napalm is the premium choice: it provides Superheated Blaze Burner output, but it is consumed faster, which keeps it from trivializing progression.

Instead of relying on a broken datapack path for the current 1.21.1 issue, the mod ships its fuel JSON files directly in the location where it reads them. It requires Create, Create: Liquid Fuel and Create: The Factory Must Grow, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, with 1.0.0 as the current build from 2026-04-23.

Key features

  1. Liquid fuels for the Blaze Burner

The TFMG fluids become valid Blaze Burner fuels, with burner heat levels that depend on the fuel used.

  2. Fuel tiers

Heavy Oil, Gasoline, Kerosene, Diesel, Naphtha and Napalm span weak, mid, strong and premium options.

  3. Napalm output and cost

Napalm gives Superheated Blaze Burner output and is consumed faster, so it is a deliberate trade-off.

  4. Bundled fuel files

The fuel definitions ship inside the mod, so they do not depend on the datapack path that is broken on 1.21.1.

Questions

Does TFMG Liquid Fuel Compat need Create: The Factory Must Grow?

Yes. Create, Create: Liquid Fuel and Create: The Factory Must Grow are all required dependencies and must be installed alongside this mod.

Does the server need this mod, or only players?

Every player and the server need a copy of the mod.

Which Minecraft version does this mod support?

Only 1.21.1, through the NeoForge build 1.0.0 published on 2026-04-23.

Why does the mod include its own fuel files?

The datapack path that normally supplies the fuel definitions is broken on 1.21.1, so the mod ships the JSON files directly where it reads them.

What the author says

Adds The Factory Must Grow liquid fuels to Create Liquid Fuel for NeoForge 1.21.1. This small compatibility mod exists as a workaround for the current 1.21.1 datapack issue in Create Liquid Fuel. Instead of relying on the broken datapack path, it ships the fuel JSON files directly in the place where the mod currently…
