TFC Auto Forging with Whitelist
TFC Auto Forging with Whitelist is a client-side Forge and NeoForge utility that adds control options to TerraFirmaCraft's automatic anvil forging.
What it does
Auto-forging in TerraFirmaCraft hits whatever recipe the anvil offers, which can waste bulk ingots or produce a head the player did not want. This mod adds a tap-to-activate mode that sits between the vanilla OFF and FULL AUTO settings, so the game waits for a strike on the first step and then takes over. A target item whitelist lets the player choose which items are forged automatically while every other item keeps the tap requirement. Forging speed has five settings, from Extreme to Safe, and an in-game settings panel opened with Ctrl+F shows the backpack, lets players right-click items to add them to the whitelist and toggle policies. Changes take effect immediately and are saved at once.
The mod is a continuation of Eternal130's original auto-forging work, reworked with a GUI redesign by SaloninusBlue. An animated forging tip highlight marks the recommended anvil button. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it. It requires TerraFirmaCraft, is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and is published for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 in both Forge and NeoForge builds.
Key features
Tap-to-activate mode
A middle setting between off and full auto waits for the first strike to be made by hand, then continues the forging on its own.
Item whitelist
Only the items on the whitelist, such as wrought iron blooms, are set to full auto, while everything else still needs a tap.
Adjustable forging speed
Five speed settings from Extreme to Safe let the player choose the pace of automatic forging.
Settings panel and forging tip
A Ctrl+F panel edits the whitelist and policies, and an animated highlight marks the recommended anvil button.

How it compares
TerraFirmaCraft AnvilHelper is also client-side only and open source under the MIT License, published for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 on Forge and NeoForge, so it covers the same versions. TFC Weld Button runs on client and server, is open source under the MIT License and is published for the same loaders and versions, so it has to be installed on both sides.

What the author says
A client-side mod that enhances TFC's auto-forging with smarter controls. Based on Eternal130's original. The problem: vanilla auto-forging blindly forges whatever recipe pops up — great for bulk ingots, frustrating when you wanted a pickaxe head but it remembered last session's axe head.
