Teleporter Control

by SkyLeeHH

Teleporter Control is a Forge utility mod for 1.20.1 that lets players move their body to a marked location with a single action.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1

What it does

The mod's core feature is basic teleporter control: a player marks a position by holding SHIFT and clicking a block, which records the current position. A Battery item in the inventory then powers the teleport. Right-clicking the air with the battery in hand, or using the mouse button bound to it, sends the player to the marked location, after which a cooldown applies before another jump.

Teleporter Control adds several new items and blocks alongside these controls. Players can see the recipes for the mod's content through the game's normal recipe display. The mod is described as giving the player a way to make the body disappear at one place and reappear at a new desired location, and it is presented as providing instant movement rather than travel over distance.

Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. It is published for Forge only, with a single game version, 1.20.1, and the latest file is 1.0.0 dated 2024-03-15. The code is All rights reserved and the mod is not open source. A public wiki is linked from the mod's listing.

Key features

  1. Marked position teleport

Holding SHIFT and clicking a block stores a position that the battery item can send the player back to.

  2. Battery-powered jumps

A battery in the inventory triggers the teleport on right-click, with a cooldown before the next use.

  3. Extra items and blocks

Several new items and blocks are added, and their recipes can be viewed in the game.

  4. Instant body movement

The player's body is moved from one place to another with no travel time, as the author describes the effect.
