TechTimer (Previously known as XbowTimer)
by 0shi
TechTimer is a Fabric client tool for timing crossbow, cart and bow techs in frames, built for players who practice Minecraft mechanics.
What it does
The client-side timing tool measures sequences such as crossbow shots, instacarts, bow carts and anchor timings at a 60 fps reference, so counts stay independent of the actual framerate. It follows the moment a rail is placed through the moment a cart explodes and reports an exact frame count, which helps practice-minded players track how consistent a tech is.
Results appear on a real-time HUD right after each shot, for example 12/60 4t. Dual measurement shows the 60 fps frame count beside the game-tick-based frames. A scrollable history table keeps every recorded shot with its date and a server timing breakdown, and ModMenu integration exposes the settings in-game. TechTimer requires Fabric API and runs on Fabric only, across 15 release versions. The mod is released under All rights reserved, so its license is not open source.
Key features
Frame counting
Counts the frames a tech takes, from placement to explosion, with a 60 fps reference that ignores the actual framerate.
Real-time HUD
Shows the result frames on screen immediately after each shot, with dual measurement against game ticks.
Shot history table
A scrollable table records each shot with its date and a server timing breakdown, for comparing attempts over time.
In-game settings
Options are reachable through ModMenu, so the timing display can be adjusted without editing files.

Latest build for each game version and loader.

Use cases
Practicing crossbow and cart techs
Players learning instacarts, bow carts or anchor sequences can see how many frames each attempt takes and where time is lost.
Checking consistency
Repeated attempts appear in the history table, which shows whether a sequence lands on the same frame count.
Who it’s for: Players who practice timed Minecraft mechanics and want frame-level feedback on their own sequences. Players in gamemodes such as HTK Cart or the Crystal LTK Cart use it to measure their techs before competing.
