What it does

Each bauble is a piece of equipment that a player wears in a Curios slot. Its effect depends on the item: some charge other FE and RF items in the inventory, some protect the wearer by drawing energy to absorb damage, and the Personal Integrity Field Projector shields the wearer from incoming harm while energy lasts. A bauble screen opens with the hotkey CTRL+E by default, where the equipped items can be checked and changed.

Technobauble requires Scalable Cat's Force and bdlib, so both must be installed next to it on Forge. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Builds exist for 1.19.3 and 1.20.1, with 0.9.0.3 for 1.20.1 as the latest file, marked alpha. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Curios slot baubles

Baubles fit Curios slots including Gadget, Back and Legs, so each equipped item uses a separate body position.

  2. Energy charging

Some baubles charge other FE and RF items, such as Curios, baubles, armor and tools, from stored energy.

  3. Damage protection

Energy-consuming baubles absorb damage for the wearer while they hold power.

  4. Six-item storage

Certain baubles hold up to 9 items, and the equipped set can be opened with the CTRL+E hotkey.
