Tech Extensions, a Fabric add-on for Tech Reborn, adds high-tech gadgets such as an electric jetpack, an electric ducted fan and a resonance scanner to that technology mod.

What it does

Tech Extensions adds nine new items that extend Tech Reborn with mid and late game tools and utilities. The gadgets are built on the Tech Reborn codebase, so they follow its conventions and integrate with its existing machines and power system. Fabric API and Tech Reborn are both required, and the mod is published for Fabric only.

The jetpack and ducted fan give players powered movement, while the resonance scanner helps locate resources in the world. Because the environment is client and server, a server and every player who joins it must install the mod. Just Enough Items (JEI) is optional and can be added alongside it.

Builds cover 1.21.10 – 26.1.2, with the latest file, 2.0.0, targeting 26.1.2 and released on 2026-04-16. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the project offers public source code and an issue tracker.
