Tape Stop
Tape Stop is a client-side Fabric and Quilt optimization mod that stops game rendering while the game is paused or unfocused.
What it does
When the window is left alone, Tape Stop halts rendering so the game uses far fewer resources until the player returns. It requires Fabric API and runs on the client alone, so only the player's game needs it. Builds cover 1.18 – 1.20.4 across 13 release versions, with 3.1.0-fabric1.20 for 1.20.4 as the latest file, released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. The code is open source.
