Superpower Onboarding is a Forge management mod for 1.20.1 that connects DC superheroes from several add-on packs into a power selection flow.

What it does

Players are assigned a superhero power through an onboarding screen, and the mod lets server owners set how many powers each player receives. Choices can be limited by removing the human selector and the random selector, so the menu only offers the remaining options. A following player can be given an extra power with the addpower command, and rechoosepower lets a player pick again.

Settings are kept in the heroselectorconfig file, and the Configuration Command Help Settings command shows each option and the value it accepts. The mod connects DC superhero content from Arrzee's Superhero Multiverse, so those powers appear in the selection. Installation requires Arrzee's Superhero Multiverse, Batman By Yo Fadda, Dampened, FSang18's Heroes, KubeJS, Lodestone, Palladium and Rhino on Forge for 1.20.1.

The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Its only file is Forge 1.1 for 1.20.1, published 2026-03-09 on the beta channel. It is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license and is not open source.
