What it does

Balances grow through kills, time spent online and the destruction of Superb Warfare vehicles, and each balance is spent inside a chest-style shop window that lists over sixty adjustable items. The product catalog covers aircraft, tanks, mobile vehicles, controllable turrets, lucky containers, and separate categories for drone ammunition and heavy ammunition. Each player's balance is stored on the server under their UUID, and a sidebar display shows the current amount.

Every price, reward amount, starter kit entry and exclusion is set in generated configuration files, so a server owner can change the economy without modifying the mod. A starter kit is handed out after a player joins and again on respawn. The addon is an unofficial community project affiliated with the developers of Superb Warfare, and it is licensed under the MIT License, so it is not open source in the sense of publishing its source for others to adapt, though the license text is available. Its files target only Minecraft 1.20.1 and the Forge loader, and it runs on the server, so players join without installing anything.

Key features

  1. Chest-style shop GUI

A shop screen lists more than 60 products that players can buy with their balance.

  2. Combat and playtime rewards

Kills, online playtime and destroyed Superb Warfare vehicles each pay out a configurable amount.

  3. Starter kit

A configurable kit is given after joining and again after each respawn, with items excluded as the server sets.

  4. Sidebar balance display

The current balance is shown in the sidebar, so players can track their spending without opening the shop.

Questions

Does Superb Warfare Shop require Superb Warfare?

The shop is built as an addon for Superb Warfare, and its rewards for destroying vehicles and combat depend on that mod being present on the server.

Do players need to install Superb Warfare Shop?

No. It runs on the server alone, so players need nothing extra to join.

Where are prices and rewards changed?

Once the server starts for the first time, the generated settings files store the item list, the costs, the payout amounts, the newcomer kit and any exemptions, all editable without touching the code.
