Sunire is a Forge and NeoForge optimization mod that adds a new fuel and a craftable block made from it, for players who run short of coal.

What it does

Sunire is a fuel item that burns in a furnace and smelts more items than ordinary coal does. It is dropped by Blazes, and nine of them combine into a Sunire block. Crafting torches with Sunire yields six per recipe, where the vanilla recipe gives four. The mod runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it.
