Set time doesn't reset day count
by macuguita
Set time doesn't reset day count changes the /time set command so that setting the clock keeps the current day number instead of returning the world to day 0.
What it does
Vanilla /time set moves the clock to a fixed tick value and resets the day count, so a world can end up back on day 0. This mod keeps the day count intact when the command runs, so setting the time to day, noon or night only moves the clock forward within the current day. Commands such as time set 20 still work, and the day counter is left alone.
Server owners install it on the server only, and players join without any mod. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 18 release versions, 1.20.1 – 1.21.11. The mod requires Forgified Fabric API and Sinytra Connector. The source code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only. NeoForge builds are the recommended choice on NeoForge, and Fabric builds work with Sinytra Connector.
Key features
Day count preserved
The day counter stays at its current value when the time is set, so the world does not fall back to day 0.
Forward-only time changes
Setting the time to day, noon or night moves the clock forward to the nearest matching point in the current day.
Standard time command
Commands such as time set 20 keep their usual syntax, and only the reset of the day count is changed.

How it compares
No Day Reset is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 only, and it runs on the server alone under the MIT License. Day-County covers 1.21 – 1.21.11 on all four loaders and is not open source. Only the server needs it there, while players may add it, and it is released under the ISC License.

Well, this mod fixes that by ensuring that when you set the time, it adjusts to the nearest time of day, noon, night, or midnight. This means that setting the time will only move it forward, preserving your day…
