SpotiCraft - A new way of listening to music
by LeonimusT
SpotiCraft lets players control Spotify playback from a screen inside Minecraft, with play, pause, skip, shuffle, repeat and volume controls.
What it does
The mod opens a Spotify panel in the game so a player can search for tracks, artists and playlists, open an artist page or album, and start playback without leaving the world. Playback controls cover play, pause, next, previous, shuffle, repeat and volume, and the current track's image is shown while music plays. Back and forward buttons and a home button move through the screens.
Signing in happens with a Spotify account. Liking and unliking tracks is supported. The home page recommendation and featured category sections no longer work, because Spotify removed the API endpoints they used. The author has stated that development has stopped due to Spotify's recent pricing changes, and the last update was published on 2025-04-30.
Installation needs Fabric API on the Fabric loader. SpotiCraft is client-side only, so only the player needs it and servers can run without it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 13 release versions, 1.20 – 1.21.5, and the code is not open source, with All rights reserved applying.
