Speedy

by WerySkok

Players who want a faster way to cross the world can use Speedy, a Fabric command mod that changes walking speed.

FabricServer-side onlyGNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.18 – 1.19.4

What it does

Speedy adds a speed command that changes how fast a player walks or flies. Using the command requires operator level 2 and the speedy.speed permission, and the speedy.speed.others permission lets an operator change another player's speed. Speedy runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. Builds cover 1.18 – 1.19.4 for Fabric, and it is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, making it open source.

Key features

  1. Walking and flight speed

The speed command changes the walking speed for flight and ground movement, so travel across large maps takes less time.

  2. Command permissions

Changing a player's own speed and changing another player's speed each need a separate permission node.

  3. Server-side setup

Only the server runs the mod, so clients need nothing installed to use the speed change.
