Spawn
by Ninni
With Spawn installed, the overworld wilderness gains new biomes, animal variants, ambient sounds and a set of added mechanics across Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
What it does
Spawn reworks the overworld wilderness with a broad set of additions: new biomes, mobs, ambience and mechanics. The mod ships a native config file, and most of its content can be changed through datapacks. Datapacks can add animal variants, control where and whether animals or their variants spawn, and adjust or extend recipes.
The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across three release versions, 1.20 – 1.21.1, with the latest Forge and NeoForge files built for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Fabric API and Teal Lib are required, and the mod is released under All rights reserved; it is not open source. Three other mods depend on Spawn: Autumnity - Spawn Compat, Barnacle Buttery and Upgrade Spawnquatic.

Spawn rules
A config and datapacks control where and whether animals or their variants spawn.
Recipe systems
Datapack-driven recipe support lets the crafting of added items be adjusted or expanded.
