SoniCraft brings the Sonic the Hedgehog series into Minecraft, with Sonic, his friends and hundreds of new blocks to build with.
What it does
SoniCraft adds characters and places from the Sonic the Hedgehog games, along with a large set of blocks for building themed areas. Dozens of decorative items sit alongside the blocks, so a world can be furnished in the same style. The mod was first released in August 2023 as a tribute to the series' 30th anniversary, and it has been updated since, most recently in June 2026.
The mod is a Forge project for Minecraft 1.18.2 – 1.20.1, and the two release versions cover that range. Its latest Forge file is 1.10.1 for 1.20.1. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Five other mods require SoniCraft, including SoniCraft Demons and Sonicraft: Lively Zones, so an installation can grow with add-ons.
