Smooth Pickup
by mineland
Smooth Pickup changes how dropped items are drawn when a player collects them, removing the pixel-grid jaggedness that shows up at high resolutions and large GUI scales.
What it does
Items picked up from the ground or moved in an inventory are rendered with smoother edges, which reduces the stepped look that appears on sprites at big resolutions and with enlarged interface scaling. The mineland team made it after a jagged appearance on moving items, and it works alongside Controllify.
Only the client needs the mod. Servers run without it and players join without installing anything on the server side. Builds are published for Fabric and NeoForge, targeting 1.21.9 and 1.21.10, and the code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
Key features
Smoother item pickup
Items that are collected from the world move with softened edges instead of a hard pixel grid.
Tooltip texture fix
Item tooltips are also drawn without the grid artifacts that made slow movement look jagged.
Zoom-friendly rendering

What the author says
A small mod that frees the items from the pixel grid. This is specifically for big resolutions with big gui scales. The items and tooltips get fixed to the texture grid, which makes them a bit too jagged when moving slowly.
