Slime No More
Slime No More lets players switch slime spawning off in individual chunks, so slimes stop appearing in the areas they choose.
What it does
Players can mark a chunk to block slime spawning, and a later update added overlay indicators that show which chunks are marked. A toggle covers the chunk the player currently stands in, so a single key press changes that area. Fabric API is required, and Mod Menu and fabric-permissions-api are optional. Both sides need the mod, and the code is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
Per-chunk spawn blocking
Slime spawning can be disabled in specific chunks, leaving other chunks unchanged.
Chunk overlay indicators
Overlay indicators visualize every chunk marked to allow or block slime spawning.
Indicator toggles
Page Up and Page Down switch the cube and billboard icon parts of the overlay on and off.

What the author says
Hate dealing with slimes or having to use carpets or other things to spawn proof an area? As of 1.2.0 permissions are now enforced. Singleplayer and Hosted lan games are always allowed to toggle slime spawning, otherwise use a Permission Manager like LuckPerms to set permissions for slime-no-more.toggleSlimeSpawning
