Slash Invite
by Mizuhara
Slash Invite lets players whitelist a friend through a simple command, so a private server can grow without operator access, and every invite is kept in a log.
What it does
Anyone on the server can add a player to the whitelist with the invite command, so friends can bring in their own friends without operator privileges. Typos in usernames are forgiven, and an invite can be revoked within a configurable window if it was entered by mistake. The mod reads the Minecraft SQLite JDBC library and needs Fabric API on Fabric, and fabric-permissions-api is an optional companion for permission handling.
Each invite is recorded in a log, and the log shows who invited whom, which lets an admin see who brought a player in. The invite log is kept on the server and can be checked when a player needs to be held to account. The mod works as a wrapper around the vanilla whitelist, adding a command layer over existing server functions rather than replacing them.
The mod is published for Fabric and NeoForge, and also runs on Paper, Spigot and Purpur server platforms. Files cover 1.17 – 26.3 across 34 release versions, with 0.3.3 for 26.3 as the latest build for both loaders. It is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker.
Key features
Invite command
Any player can whitelist another player by username with a short command, without needing operator rights.
Invite revocation
A mistaken invite can be revoked inside a configurable time window, removing the player from the whitelist.
Invite log
Every invite is recorded, so admins can see who added each player and check it later.
Typo tolerance
Usernames entered with minor typos are matched, so a small error does not block an invite.
